Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on how we work, what projects cost, how long they take and what happens after launch.

Working with Cyboweb

What services does Cyboweb Technologies offer?

We build custom software, web applications, mobile apps and progressive web apps, and we work across cloud and DevOps, AI and automation, UI/UX design, SEO and digital marketing. Most clients come to us for one of those and stay for the ongoing support around it.

Which industries do you work with?

We have delivered projects in manufacturing, healthcare, education, retail and e-commerce, logistics and professional services. The engineering approach stays the same; what changes is the time we spend understanding your domain before we design anything.

How do I start a project?

Send us an outline through the contact form or email info@cybowebtechnologies.com. We will arrange a short call to understand the goal, the constraints and the timeline, and follow up with a written proposal covering scope, approach, cost and schedule.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. We work with clients in other countries and adjust our meeting times to overlap with your working day. Communication is in English, and all documentation, code and handover material is produced in English.

Can you take over a project someone else started?

Often, yes. We begin with a review of the existing code, infrastructure and documentation, then tell you honestly what can be carried forward and what is better rebuilt, with the cost of each option.

Projects and delivery

How long does a typical project take?

A focused business website usually takes three to six weeks. A web application or custom platform typically runs eight to sixteen weeks depending on scope. We give you a phase-by-phase schedule in the proposal rather than a single date at the end.

What does your development process look like?

Discovery and requirements, then UI/UX design, then development in reviewable increments, then testing, deployment and handover. You see working software throughout rather than only at the end, which is what keeps surprises out of the final week.

How will we stay in touch during the project?

You get a named point of contact, an agreed update rhythm — usually weekly — and a shared channel for day-to-day questions. Decisions and changes are confirmed in writing so there is always a record of what was agreed.

What if our requirements change mid-project?

That is normal, and we plan for it. Changes within the agreed scope are absorbed. Anything that materially adds to scope is quoted as a change request first, so you decide whether the cost and schedule impact is worth it before we build it.

Do you provide the content and images?

We can. Copywriting and sourcing licensed imagery are available as part of the project. If you prefer to supply your own, we will give you a structure and word count for each section so it fits the design.

Pricing and contracts

How do you price your work?

Fixed price where the scope is well defined, time and materials where it will evolve, and monthly retainers for ongoing work. We recommend the model that fits your project and explain the trade-off rather than defaulting to one.

What does a project cost?

It depends on scope, integrations and design complexity, so we do not publish fixed prices. After an initial conversation you get a written quote with the cost broken down by phase, so you can see what each part contributes.

What are your payment terms?

Usually an advance to begin, then payments tied to delivery milestones. The exact schedule is set out in the proposal, along with applicable taxes.

Who owns the code and the design?

You do, once the project is paid in full. Our pre-existing tools and libraries stay ours and come with a licence to use them in your deliverables, and third-party or open-source components keep their own licences. This is set out in our Terms of Service.

Technology

What technologies do you build with?

We choose per project rather than forcing one stack. In practice that means PHP and Laravel or CodeIgniter, Node.js, React and Next.js, React Native and Flutter on mobile, Python for AI and data work, and MySQL or PostgreSQL for data.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. We regularly integrate with ERP and CRM platforms, payment gateways, logistics and messaging providers, and internal APIs. Where a system has no API, we look at database-level or file-based integration and tell you the trade-offs.

Do you handle hosting and deployment?

We do. We can deploy to your own cloud account or arrange managed hosting, and we set up the deployment pipeline, backups, monitoring and SSL as part of the handover.

Will the site work well on mobile and load quickly?

Yes. Everything we build is responsive and tested on real devices, and performance is treated as a requirement, not an afterthought — image optimisation, caching and Core Web Vitals are part of the build.

Support and security

What happens after launch?

Every project includes a warranty period for fixing defects in the delivered scope. Beyond that, we offer maintenance plans covering updates, security patching, backups, monitoring and a set amount of change work each month.

How do you handle security?

Secure defaults during development, dependency and vulnerability review, encrypted transport, role-based access control, and hardening of the servers we manage. For projects that need it, we arrange a security review before launch.

How quickly do you respond to problems?

Response times depend on your support plan and the severity of the issue. Anything taking a production system down is treated as the priority; the specific targets are written into your agreement rather than left vague.

How is my data handled?

Enquiry and project data is used only to respond to you and deliver the work, and is never sold. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it.
