Forms in Elementor

CAFE adds a CAFE Form widget to Elementor (category General).

1. Make the form in CAFE → Forms (or register it in PHP).
2. In Elementor, drag CAFE Form onto the page.
3. Choose the form in the widget's Form setting.

The widget only chooses the form: rendering, permissions, validation and saving are exactly those of cafe_dynamic_form(). People who may not use the form see the same message as elsewhere.

While no form is chosen, editors see "Choose a form in the widget settings." (visitors see nothing).

#Notes

• Forms that edit "the post being viewed" edit the post the Elementor template is shown for (single templates in Elementor Pro's Theme Builder).
• Style the form with the .cafe-form custom properties (Layout) in Custom CSS or your theme.
• The widget needs Elementor 3.5 or newer (elementor/widgets/register).
